My Story
After a 25 year wait there was finally a little girl born into the Stock family. On top of that accolade it had also been a 3 year wait for me to complete the perfect family. My Mumma quickly became my best friend. Everything you would expect of a mother and more. The strongest woman i'll ever know and someone that would fight tooth and nail to protect us. Dadda, he never fails to put a smile on my face even if he does look a fool in doing so. I know that he is and will always be there for me. Then there is Arthur, my big brother. He is the most gentle, loving and caring brother out there... but boy oh boy does he talk a lot. I wouldn't change any of them for the world but at the age of 2, I changed theirs... Again!

I have now been diagnosed with Leukodystrophy after showing limited signs of being able to walk or bear weight .It was Mamma that first noticed this and brought it to the attention of many a doctor around March 2024. She tirelessly chased doctors to take the matter seriously but my lack of development was swept aside as "a late bloomer". Just a short 8 months later the scans revealed my inherited disorder. My disorder is a progressive disease that will cause me to regress. It started with my dexterity but it will spitefully take a lot more. My speech, my sight, my hearing and the list goes on.

All that said, one thing that wont be taken is our strength as a family. We are stronger together and no matter what we're together forever.
